YouTube TV

YouTube the largest video sharing site just updated its TV application to be easier to use on a big screen.

The new version which features a different look and improved organization of categories, aimed at providing a better viewing experience.As the company discovers that viewers tend to turn toward specific types of videos when watching YouTube on television, including travel, news, sports, fitness videos, TV shows, gaming, comedy, and more. 

With this new interface, YouTube aims to make it simpler to access videos which have been grouped to high-level categories like “Recommended,” “Trending,” “Entertainment, “News,” and more. With each categories having subcategories pointing to specific video content in that genre.

The update is been rolled out in the U.S. to all TV platforms, connected and smart TVs, streaming boxes, as well as game consoles with other countries following suit.
