Google have started rolling out Android 7.0. Nougat which features split-screen multitasking, quick-reply notifications, much better emoji etc is a great update for anyone with an Android phone or tablet.
Nougat will primarily be available to recent Nexus devices which are
Nexus 6P, 5X, 6, 9, and Nexus Player. Also with the Pixel C tablet
The above phones and tablets will receive the Nougat update sequentially over the coming weeks.
