Google released a new version of Chrome last week which includes new payment features as well as performance improvements.
Known for consuming way too much RAM & battery life, over the past year, Chrome has seen many improvements in those departments.
Now, Chrome is more than 15% faster on both desktop & Android. For websites that receive a lot of traffic, Chrome has begun to use less battery. So you save more battery life on sites like Vimeo, FB, & YouTube.
Chrome for Mac now uses 33% less power for videos, images & even page scrolling. Chrome now also has fast & seamless payments to Chrome on Android with support for Android Pay & adding support for the PaymentRequest web standard. This means that shopping online can be done with a single click.
