Get Verified on Twitter!

We want to make it even easier for people to find creators and influencers on Twitter so it makes sense for us to let people apply for verification,” Twitter in a statement release.

Twitter’s verified accounts which were reserved for brands, media, and other public figures is now made open to everyone. To get verified, here is what you need:

-A verified phone number

-An email address

-A Twitter biography

-A profile picture

-A birthday

-Website

And finally,

-Your Tweets set to public.

Twitter may also ask for a scan of your government-issued ID for verification.

-You’ll also have to provide more information to Twitter such as why your account should be verified.

“We hope opening up this application process results in more people finding great, high-quality accounts to follow, and for these creators and influencers to connect with a broader audience.”
